As in Jack London’s novel, Call of the Wild, or Dances with Wolves by Michael Blake, who hasn’t dreamed of approaching this magnificent animal?
GRAY WOLVES STAY IN WINTER
We are in the far east of Poland on the border with Ukraine. In the middle of endlessforests punctuated by tiny villages. These steep and inaccessible forests of several tens of kilometers offer a perfect habitat for these discreet animals. This is where we found the perfect spot to photograph this iconic species. Because they are not hunted and have a gigantic wild territory, the chances of observing them here are maximum.
We would like to emphasize that it is a 100% wild population. One of the largest packs in Europe thrives here…
Meeting this animal is truly an indescribable experience. When you see it for the first time, you realize that you are living an extremely rare moment, a strong moment that you will remember! This trip is the first and only one specifically intended for wolf photography from photo hides. Wolves are often flukes in bear sightings in the North for example, but not here, he is the main subject.
Very comfortable photo hides with a perfect position, and with warm accommodation.
Patience and perseverance are necessary, but we will have the chance to take great shots! We will also see other species such as the American Nutcracker, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Common Buzzard, Golden Eagle…
this trip is offered in partnership with Wildpix Travel, the photo hide specialist
